Here you will find what data we process when you write to us through the form on this website, why we need it and how long we keep it.
Who processes your data

What data we process
From the contact form: your name, e-mail, message and enquiry type — these are required. Optionally your company name and phone number.
Automatically on submission: your IP address and the time of sending. We use these solely to protect the form against abuse and bulk sending; the IP address is stored in a hashed form that we cannot read back.
Why and on what legal basis
Handling your enquiry and preparing a quote — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
Protecting the form against spam — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in running a working contact form.
We do not use the data for marketing, profiling or automated decision-making.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence about an enquiry for a maximum of 3 years from the last exchange, so that we can go back to what was agreed. Technical records of the submission expire within 24 hours.
If an enquiry turns into an order, the related documents are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law.
Who we share it with
We do not pass the data to third parties for their own purposes and we do not transfer it outside the European Union. For technical reasons it is accessible to our web hosting and e-mail provider, who acts as our processor.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising scripts.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to its operator’s servers. We are preparing to move the fonts to our own server.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just write to info@lbd.sk.
If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
